/ Bo McGeeAs an artist, I’m always pushing myself to go deeper. You’ve got to really dig into the personal stuff to make art that resonates with people. If you want your art to mean something to the world, it has to mean something to you first.
Creating Mlopony Mony and Tossik Maxalinity was a journey that spanned a pandemic, the death of my father, and the end of my 30’s. So for my 40th birthday, I set out to reflect on the whole experience with my best friend.
At times, the conversation gets as uncomfortable as a dump in your pants. That makes sense, of course, because we’re talking about things that guys are supposed to be embarrassing, like taking a dump in your pants.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: This is the most raw, personal, and intimate work of art/piece of content I’ve ever made. And that’s saying something, considering I once recorded 5 podcasts about beating off.
I made these videos for myself, for my dad, for supporters of my art, and for anyone who is trying to make their way through grief, stumbling blindly through the darkness and trying not to shit their pants.
