My name is Barry Melon, and I am the man in charge around here. For most of my life, I’ve been a mild-mannered pencil-pusher by day and a creative crusader by night. But now I’m taking a leap of faith on a one year sabbatical from the rat race to pursue my dream of creating my own webcomic!

And not just any old webcomic, but a bold new webcomic that is going to change the way you read comics online!

And that’s what brings us here today!

In my role as Head Illustrator/Editor-In-Chief/CEO, I’ll be bringing the following recurring features to the hallowed pages of TheRealBarryMelon.com:

Barry’s World: This is our flagship web-comic. Barry’s World is a semi-autobiographical strip which will give readers a glimpse inside my marriage, professional world, and inner thoughts as I put it all on the line for one last chance at making my dream come true. This comic will tackle real issues with a hilarious perspective and slightly twisted worldview!

Melon’s Musings: This is going to be my platform to really get to know all you Melon Heads out there, and to let you get to know me. Yeah, I like to draw. But I like to think too! So this is where I’m going to be sharing a lot of my thoughts on philosophy, politics, and pretty much anything that’s on my mind but doesn’t fit inside the panels of a comic strip. I’ll also be answering questions from readers in Melon’s Mailbag, so use the form below to submit questions now for the first edition!

Millenial Man: Millenial Man is a satirical super-hero comic which sends-up the self-perceived “heroes” of modern America. Social Justice Warriors beware!

And more…? Only time will tell!

Thank you so much for joining me on this journey. I believe that in 20 years, Barry’s World will still be going strong, and it will be a comprehensive story about what it means to live, love, and strive for more in the 21st century.
