I celebrated my 40th birthday in a little cabin on the Russian River with a small group of close friends.

We swam in the river, drank wine, cooked, ate, smoked weed and told stories until it got late every night.

A brilliant cinematographer by the name of Qiusihi Yu joined us for a day. Early in the planning for this trip, I knew that I wanted to capture a few sit down conversations with 2 of my favorite collaborators— Mike Strand and Jeni Laboy.

If you’ve been following my art at all, you’ve seen Mike and Jeni. We have these great, easy conversations that are always full of laughs, but we can get deep in the serious stuff too.

I had a great time sharing my art with Mike and Jeni. Our conversations were a lot of fun and very healing after a hard year. Some of it gets shockingly personal.

I’ve got 6 well-produced little pieces of video content ready to go. 4 videos with Mike at about 20 minutes each, and 2 with Jeni at about 30 minutes each.

I got a ton of great short content too, and a lot more to come.
